Hawaiian Chant and Culture Class

Maui’s respected Hawaiian cultural authority, Kumu Keli‘i Tau‘a, will teach a four-week course in Hawaiian chanting and culture. Free to canoe club members, open to the public for a nominal donation. Classes meet Wednesday mornings, 10 a.m. from Feb. 9 through March 2 at the Kihei Canoe Club hale on South Kihei Road. Call Dottie, 891-0575 or Jackie, 573-1935 for reservations or more info.
