Volunteers Sought for “Neighborhood Watch” Program for Coral Reefs

Community members are invited to participate in a volunteer program that trains people to serve as volunteers at snorkel sites and onboard recreational tour vessels. The objective is to preserve and protect Maui’s reefs by educating visitors and residents. Training workshops begin Wed., Jan. 19, 6 p.m. at Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary Education Center.
